Peace at Last?

Having been through a lot, Serabi caught herself looking around the area a little more carefully than she usually would, her silver pools darting this way and that as she daintly padded into a clearing that brought her to a lovely beach. Taking a moment to do a sweep of the land, she realized that she was for the moment, alone. A light sigh escaped her lips, she now assumed that she would forever actually be alone. Chewing on the inside of her lip as nonsense thoughts about the life she once had, she allowed her eyes to roam the sunset.
Serabi's bright silver pools reflected the sun as set behind the everlasting oceans, and although lonely, Serabi felt peaceful. She stood still, the ocean breeze rustled her dark fur as she took this time to allow herself to feel something for the first time in a long time...
She allowed herself to feel the suns warmth, to feel the discomfort of the sand squishing between her toes pads of her paws, to hear the crashing of the waves of the ocean that was so near to her. Serabi felt like the ocean was a magnet to her, something about this giant and sometimes fatal body of water lured her in. Beginning to pad further to the shore, Serabi allowed the waves to touch her toes.
Smiling now, her features softened quite a bit as she deeply inhaled and let the crashing waves take away her negative feelings that Serabi held on to for so long. Her heart beat freely, her mind seemed to clear and she felt the best she had in months in this moment. Serabi wagged her tail lightly and pushed her ears forward as she reclined upon the damp sandy ground the beach offered.
The crashing waves sweeping debris from the unknown ocean bottom, kelp and a few seashells came ashore to the right of her. Looking down, she pawed at the shell until it got cupped onto her toes and lifted it up to her face. Examining the shell, the outside was a dusty white color.. had a few chips taken out of it and there were many scars on the outside of it. Most would think that a beaten up looking shell isnt pretty, nor worth anything. Serabi saw the shell as a beautiful thing.. the fact that if it is not perfect made her like it more. On the inside upon furher inspection, it was smooth and had a pearly shine to it...and was a deep plum color. 'A beauty within itself', she thought.
Placing the shell on the ground, Serabi felt like she should perhaps do the noble thing and find the Alpha, but she didnt smell markers where he currently was so Serabi figured she was alright here, at least for now. Taking a moment, she tried tuning out the ocesn as she looked behind her, she felt as if she wasn't alone any longer... like she was being watched. Likely, she was wrong... but her instincts were usually right to a point.
